Can one project cover several of these services?
Often it does. A rear extension may need groundworks, steels, a kitchen and a new bathroom; a basement needs structural work, waterproofing and a full fit-out. It is priced as one job with one programme, and the quantity surveying keeps the separate parts adding up to one clear number.
Do you take on quantity surveying for projects someone else is building?
Yes. Cost plans, tender documents, valuation checks and final accounts can be provided on their own, for homeowners, landlords and small developers who already have a builder or want to tender the work.
Is a service missing from the list?
The list covers the work we take on. If your project is a mix of these, or you are not sure which heading it sits under, describe it in the Quick Quote form and we will tell you straight away whether it is something we can price.
Do you handle building control and party wall notices?
Building control applications are arranged as part of the work, and party wall notices are flagged early so the right surveyors can be appointed in good time. Planning drawings come from your architect or designer, and we can price from them at any stage.
